Bob

I began my ministry at Upper St. Clair Alliance Church near the beginning of 2014. Before moving to Pittsburgh, I had the privilege of serving churches in the Midwest for over 30 years. I enjoy what I do because it allows me to use the gifts God has given me and to see lives transformed by the power of God’s Word.

Teresa and I were married in 1978 and God has blessed us with three great kids and four wonderful grandkids. They are the joy of our lives, which is why we are wearing the road out between Pittsburgh and southeastern Wisconsin and Minneapolis. We travel there often to spend time with our family. When we can’t be there, we love to read books, play hide-and-seek, and sing songs with our grandkids via Skype.

I recently completed a DPhil in social research at Omega Graduate School. The focus of the program is the integration of religion and society, and my research topic was “The Effect of Christian Apologetics Training on the Faith Confidence and Witnessing Boldness of Emerging Adult Christians”. I also teach part time as an adjunct professor through the online program of Crown College, my alma mater.

To unwind and recharge my energy I enjoy walks in the woods with Teresa, biking the Montour Trail and mountain biking on the single-track trails of area parks.
