Online Giving FAQ's

The online giving website uses email authentication to log in, instead of a password. To begin an online donation, provide your email address & click continue. A secure, Donor Log-In Link will be emailed to you to complete your donation. Click the Log-In Now button & complete your donation.

Donation Processing Fees

ACH Bank Account transfer is $0.25 per transaction (ACH is a direct withdrawal from your bank checking or savings account)
Credit or Debit Card transaction is $0.30 + 2.15% per transaction
Option to Cover the Processing Fee If you’d like to cover the cost of the processing fee that the church is charged for your online donation, check this option. When you do, the fee will be added to your tax-deductible donation total.
ACH Bank Account Verification For the first ACH transaction, you’ll need to verify your bank account information by using one of the following verification methods:

Bank Login — only available for larger bank institutions, but provides instant verification
Micro-deposit Verification — (requires 3-5 business days to complete) After providing your bank routing number & account number, they will send you an email with detailed instructions to complete this verification.

Is online giving secure & who is the online giving provider?

The giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. Planning Center Online (PCO) is our online giving provider. PCO integrates with Stripe to process your donation. Stripe has the highest level of PCI compliance and is trusted by some of the world’s largest businesses and non-profits.

Can I schedule recurring online donations?

Yes, you can specify either recurring or one-time donations.

What if I need to change my recurring online donations?

You can view, edit, or delete a scheduled recurring donation at anytime by logging in to your account (view Enhanced Security Log In instructions above)

Can I donate to multiple Donation Funds during one transaction?

Yes, in the Give section, click the drop-down to view the list of Funds available for Online Giving.

How long does it take for my online donation to process?

Generally, it takes 3-5 business days to withdraw funds from your bank account & approximately 7 days (from completed donation date) for the church account to receive your donation funds.

Will I receive a donation receipt and/or year-end statement?

Yes, confirmation statements are emailed for every transaction, or opt-out of this feature. Paper Statements will also be mailed at the end of the year. Donors can log in to their account & access Online Donation statements/history at any time.

What if I don't want to get an email receipt every time I donate online?

Donors receive email receipts for every donation, however, they can choose to opt-out with the link provided on the receipt.

How do I log in to my Donor Account?


PCO recently unveiled a mobile app called Church Center. Manage your Online Giving and keep your Upper St. Clair Alliance Church profile up to date, too.

Can I Give by text message?

Yes, text any amount to 84321. Follow the self-guided setup instructions to use your mobile phone to donate to Upper St. Clair Alliance Church. Processing fees, as explained above, still apply. Text-to-Give is meant to be an easy way for regular donors to give spontaneously.
Text donations will be credited to the General fund, unless designated otherwise. Text HELP for a full list of all donation funds & keywords.

Limitations for Text-To-Give: Recurring donations can’t be established or managed by Text-to-Give. This can be done in the donor interface, but can’t be accomplished over SMS.
